Wheel and Tyre fitment

Hi Guys this is a question thats probably been asked loads of time but I cant find the answer. Will A4 S line wheels with 235 40 18 fit on to my A3 S line quattro? Will I have rubbing issues car is on standard suspension. I'm wanting the wheels to fill the arches. Is the offset of 43 pushing the rims out to far? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks

I was told that A4 wheels mean you do not need spacers, So They Fill the arches better ...

You shouldn't have rubbing issues on standard suspension, not sure what width they are? But the offset will have them out as far as the arch for sure if they are 8+ width

A4 wheels are usually a perfect fit for A3s.

put 225/40R18 tyres on and you shouldn't have any rubbing either.

I have 8x18 ET43 with a 225/40, lowered on coils (not very low though), and have no rubbing at all.
