cheers mate, be a while yet mate ive had a very difficult time as of late and its not only affected me but the family aswell so when i do eventually get it done it will be the Revo route no doubt!

lovely dude! Any mods planned?

thanks mate, Revo Stage 1, S3 Skirts, powdercoated calipers and forge dump valve is the plan for now.

Looks great!

cheers adam!

Looks great mate. What Bhp is the 1.8?

thanks mate, what farhanali said.

not a bad place to shoot mate, i took my last car there too seems to just attract a good setting for a subtle shoot, idea of a mini meet and plenty of snaps taken sounds good to me mate!

update - alloys are now powdercoated gloss black, now considering a Forge dump valve any suggestions on what kind of kit and if its worth going for?

unfortunately i cant paint my calipers as Audi have said in person to me that it will void my warranty if they were to **** up, cant see how most lads on here are able to do this and far more, and get away with it, love to know.

Any photos of the alloys fella? All depends on your dealer and your relationship with them. A friend of mine got an 8P3 S3 Stage 2 + and had a full engine rebuild this year using uprated parts and my local dealer still covers his warranty. They even fitted coilovers to it when it was delivered to them for him. What do Audi mean as well by "**** up" its only a bit of paint on the calipers cant see how it would avoid your warranty.

ill post one in a minute mate, thats strange i dont understand why they are being so over cautious with simple things such as painting calipers, i mean if something goes wrong with the brakes for whatever reason then they wont be covered under warranty due to the calipers being painted, my dad has e-mailed audi head office for an official yes or no answer anyway so i will wait on a reply for that.

Private plate arrived yesterday courtest of Demonplates.co.uk, very impressed with the quality and i went with the domed black effect which really makes them stand out!

Also had confirmation from Audi themselves that i can paint my calipers without voiding the warrant however i am still awaiting an e-mail stating this so i have it in writing, pics to follow of the calipers once done.

Just a stab in the dark here but do any of you know where to get this tax disc holder from, i can not seem to find it on eBay or on a general search on google itself, any help would be much appreciated, cheers!

looking great so far.

The tax disc holder looks like a home made one, I think its just a universal metal richbrook looking one with a s line badge bought on ebay and stuck on in the centre. ;)

Yeah agree on the tax disc holder, looks like one off of E-bay and a stick on badge...

The new colour on your wheels looks awesome mate!

cheers jack mate, what map have you got on yours? dont suppose its Revo since PD Tuning are our most local specialists.
No worries buddy - and yeah I got my map done at PD Tuning in Boldon

UPDATE: - Revo Stage 1 within the next 2 weeks, figures and pics to follow very soon.

i would be curious to know the results.
i currently have APR stage 1 on my A3 MY59
with the same engine as yours.

what are your figures?

im getting the map tomorrow but wont hit max gains until i have ran the car in with 2 full tanks of shell v power and then only be used with that fuel, only then will the map be finely tweaked to hit full potential.

now equipped with REVO Stage 1 courtesy of Triple H Motorsport, top quality efficient service - definitely recommend this one man business in Newcastle.

Will be running the car on Shell V power on next fill up then change settings on SPS swtich after a few tanks of the stuff to optimise peak gains, dyno to follow february time.

Once she adapts and settles to new mapping parameters / fuel type she will feel even better.

Good stuff fella, i bluefinned my car yesterday. I was really considering Revo but the thing is i thought let me try the bluefin. Interested to hear your feedback on how the car feels.

Im going to put a post up on my results, I intend to get dynoed next month aswell.

How does the revo map feel has it transformed the power up top? What about mid range?

My bluefin map has given me a jump in torque at around 3000rpm and it feels alot more responsive uptop.
