Purchasing wiring looms from audi

Hi All
I have been trying to get hold of the wiring and connectors from the ballast to the bulb for the d3s setup.
Have been told by audi i need a vin,could i give reg?
does anybody know the part no or any other way so they can identify it?
also does anyone know if the wiring can be bought seperate or if you have to get it as a complete set inc ballasts

Your VIN is shown in the windscreen cut out. Why would you just want to give reg no. ?

his car has been facelifted n no longer has that front on so his vin wouldnt work? what setup have you got in it now if you wernt using the d3s

when i needed loom for my a4 facelift i had to buy connection block and the wires with the right fittin for the block all seperate you need vin as there is far to many to choose fromon etka parts catalog plus because they have to order them in wont just go on what one you think it looks like try askin afew people on here for a vin to help you out orpart numbers

Ash_b is currelnly collecting vins hopefully he has 1 soon. I will also pm stoke audi. Can't use my own vin as new wiring will be different to wat my car had originally.in the meantime all suggestions are welcome. A part no would be great from members who have completed similar conversions

Surely if you use a REG of off autotrader this will suffice?

When I get a minute I'll have a look on elsawin (audi wiring diagrams) for you to see if I can work out what you need. I really don't see why they will not accept a reg though. I tell you what call TPS (trade parts specialists) with the reg say you don't have vin to hand and see if they can help as they're far more helpful than Audi usually are mate.

Failing that I'll check elsawin for you, although there a quite a few peeps on here that know how to navigate this program far better than I do. Surprised you had no answer to this yet tbh ah well...
