Hi All,
I was pulling out of the drive of my block of flats today, and pulled out fairly rapidly on to the main road (presumably some sort of venting after the heated debate with the development manager of the block about the subtle difference between "parking", "waiting" and "loading" ).
As the car accelerated and shifted from what I think was 2nd to 3rd, it seemed to give up for a second, as if it had stuffed up the shift. I eased off and it seemed re-gain its footing, and was fine for the rest of the drive.
I've heard a fair amount about the mechatronic units failing on the DSGs - is this likely just a fluke, or any kind of warning of a dodgy unit?
Many thanks for any input as ever!
Ben
