Quick question would this fit my motor as my current one is knackerd.

My motor is a 2005 A3 2.0tdi, 3 door.

The first one is for a BKP engine and your engine is BKD ! So it isn't the right one.

The second one may fit - ask him if it's from a BKD engined car
