Would anyone be able to tell me what the benefits of doing a dsg calibration reset with vcds are? Car has done 74k, is it something worth doing or is it a case of if it ain't broke don't fix it?

I would say that as it is a fairly complex procedure with a specific drive plan, if it ain't broke - leave it well alone.
