Help!! Headlight doesnt go off

hi all, i need help.

i just installed a turbo boost gauge meter on my 2009 8p 2.0T A3 today. its a new south performance gauge. everything works well... except my lights does not turn off at 'off' position . the light work normally at low beam (LED) and normal beam and also the fog lights. the only problem is at off position the light doesnt turn off stays in normal beam mode.

i need your advice. thanks

Try and take the battery out for a couple of min.

I'd also check the fuses. If your light switch is disconnected and you start the car the lights come on.

i went to the shop today. he took the battery out and check the fuse, the problem still there. the guy told me that i might be the light switch. could it be possible??

Yeap good call Ewan, check your light switch if its come loose, as its 09 then maybe under warranty still.

i have just notice that my hazard light switch illuminates even when the car is locked.
