How do you remove the rear wiper blade

Hi

Could anyone please tell me how to remove the rear wiper blade, i think i must be missing something real obvious.

I was washing my car the other day and when i lifted the blade a spring came off. To get it back on i need to take the blade off.

Lift up the arm, hold the end of the blade furthest away from the spindle and firmly and carefully lever outwards.

That's how I do it on my sportback.
