Hi to all, this is my 1st audi, in fact my 1st diesel turbo. Im not sure if this is a fault or just the norm for this engine. When i change from 1st to 2nd, especially low revs, eg off a main road onto a side road hill, the car has a large flat spot/lag. other than this there are no strange noises etc, and as i'm having it mapped on Saturday, im hoping you'll tell me that this is common to this engine, and the remap should sort this??

Ye there is a noticable turbo lag, a good map should reduce this. Or you can always rev it a bit harder
I'm having it mapped by Angel tuning, not sure which form of remap they are using, static, or live, but its not going on the rollers as its being done in a car park.
