Trolley jack point and Axle stands

Where is the safest place to jack the front end up with a trolley jack? And once I've jacked up one side, where is the safest place to place an axle stand?

I need to have the whole front end up so I can take the front bumper off.

I've done a search on this forum and cant see to find a definitive answer.

Anyone know before I cave my floor in? :)

Yes I did and I came across this thread too. I posted in it myself a week ago.

What it doesn't clarify is where to put a trolley jack WITHOUT the need for any third party accessories and it doesn't even mention where to put axle stands once the car is jacked up.

I need to take the bumper off this weekend so dont have time to order any jack accessories from the US.

There must be people on this forum that use a trolley jack AND axle stands on their A3s. I just need to know what are the safe points for both of these.

Superb, thanks for that.

Fancy hiding it away like that under a panel. I dont suppose you know where I should place the axle stands at the front once jacked up do you? I would of thought it would be at the standard jack points on the sill but just wanted to make sure beforehand.
