door locking sound after moving

Sorry, another question!

Driving along in the car it sounds like once i start moving the door makes a locking noise. I know this is normal but mine keeps doing it after each time i stop, ie at a traffic light, over a speed hump etc etc. bit weird?

yeah shouldn't do that.. should lock once as soon as you go above 10mph and then that's it until you press the unlock button on driver side door or get out of the car. What you have going on sounds like the mechanism in London black cabs!!!!

What happens with the red light on the door lock??
Does it stay lit, or is it going on and off?

its a 57, will have to have a look at the red light thingy

Then it has to be a fault as it shouldnt unlock when you stop momentarily at say lights.
