Chrome roof rails

How easy is it to remove chrome roof rails, and do they leave any marks or evidence behind?

Seen an A3 that I like but has roof rails.

Why don't you like the rails? I think they really set off the sportbacks shape. As for removing them, they are bolted on so yes you would need a trip to the bodyshop!

i too prefer them with the roof rails i valeted a dark blue sportback s-line without them and it would look so much nicer if it had chrome roof rails on it

Funny that it took me ages to find one with them. I'd stick with them as most find them desirable give it a go for a while you can always get them removed later but would require a really good bodyshop so you can't tell it's been done
