well i meant if you can find out where it was mapped, demap it and take it to Audi, get it sorted and get it mapped again. there'll be a cursory fee but at least your repair will be free.

having said that, considering it's a Cat D car Audi may not honour any warranty anyhow.

It isnt a CAT D mate otherwise i wouldnt have bought it - I aint that daft - they only CAT D them if there is damage or something that means it can't be sold without work as i understand it ;)

But yeah get ya point, problem i have is that it was probably mapped on a different plate as it was running around on the wrong ones prior to me purchasing.

ok i'm confused, i could have sworn someone said it was Cat D. nm anyway, i'm not really helping lol

no worries fella....when its HPI clear it means no CAT signs or anything against it......prob knew that already just misinformed ;)

Think its an issue with the DV perhaps, seem to remember the N249 faults relating from my 8L days.....are there many engine boffs on here?

Its probably a dodgy connection, dirt etc or become unplugged, check under the hood for its connector & have a nosey.
