Uh hold on, my telepathy is down atm, also no lol or smiley, so how the hell would anyone know you meant it as a joke you numpty, come on, now whose being so serious

From your post, it seemed a genuine opinion, I replied with no malice at all, what is arsey about that, this forum does actually have serious moments, I was interested in your opinion & how you got to that conclusion.

& as it happens YoungDan, had a great day, thanks for asking

Oh, you mean in my PRIVATE message to him...?? I called him a "tosser". Quite different to a 'complete nob', and nowhere near as offensive.

RNS 510 for 1, mirror lowering with reverse, under mirror lights, number of very useful features things that were on a socalled lesser brand as such, with now 4 incarnations of the 8P, surely they could add these & others over the 8 years of its release life so far?

Must be a marketting reason behind this as always i'd suspect, still miffed for the same reasons that you are, but still wouldn't swap out of my car for any VW...not being snobby just don't like anything they are doing at the moment - 510 or not

Unfortunately we are a generation behind....

but we aren't! the Mk6 hasn't got anything the Mk5 didn't have (with the exception of the XDS electronic diff). they're both based on the PQ35 chassis and despite the fact that the Golf V was released a few months after the 8P they've facelifted it THREE times since then.

there really is no excuse lol

Well he can and I'm sure he has already.

He chose to pipe up again so obviously still hasn't got over it.

Anyway, it was some hours ago since the last posts, surprised you're referring back to it to be honest, as that'll only give it more life.

Singapore is on point. Everything just works, loads of people everywhere but hardly any waiting for anything.
Hot, multicultural, friendly, young, bars galore, shops galore, frickin women galore
I swear the guys here are punching well above their weight when it comes to their missus. I've seen some proper nerdy geeks with differently fit birds.
Food is cheap but everything else is EXPENSIVE. I paid $4 (2) for a fat chicken and pork rice lunch but $30 (15) for two bottles of local beer.

The hotel i'm in is on the Singapore Grand Prix course, so thats pretty weird looking out the window seeing the roads that i've seen on tv. Shame it ain't on at the moment.

Anybody considering a trip east should deffo come here. Singapore is a lot!

For a basic vw golf you're looking at 45k minimum.
30k of that is for the government certificate you have to buy before you can buy a car.
I've seen one rolls and one beemer and the rest has been cack pile of ****e bangers.
