Hi new here, but hope some of you knowledgeable folk might steer me in the right direction.
We have a 5dr, 2.0T FSI Quattro S-Line A3, 2006 model. Has 44k on the clock. This afternoon, accelerated and had a massive hesitation around 3.5k rpm, and didn;t really want to rev past. Continued doing it in a few gears. Eventually it revved passed the hesitation but it felt very strange. Also noticed what i thhoguht was some power loss, and (maybe in my head) but I couldn't detect turbo spining at all, or even turbo whine.
No smoke out the back, no obvious oil leaks etc.
Obviously I need to get an expert to check it over but any thoughts on what it might be?
And any suggestions as to good independents in North London? Car ran out of warranty last summer.
