Engine squeak, sounds like a mount, common?

I've noticed recently that from cold there is a squeak from the engine when you let off the power. Initial thoughts were that the pedal was doing it but its definitely as the engine comes off power.

After a mile or two it stops, anyone had this and have an answer?

my worry is that somethings loose and once its heated up it expands so there's no play then.

Could be alternator pulley? Is squeak still there when you full lock the steering wheel when car is idling?

Not tried that yet, its just when moving and the engine is coming off load.

I have exactly the same with my TT - Cold start there is a loud on-going squeak when you're off the power that goes away once the engine starts to warm up; has been happening a couple of weeks now and the best I can tell it maybe the power steering belt. Need to get it down the garage when its cold!
