But it also fits an A3 8P (original A3 ones are 8P0 601 025 S 1H7)

That is the correct part number for the 7.5J 18" S-Line wheel for the A3.

The A4 wheels are 8J 18" so a bit wider. That maybe the different in the end bit of the part number....
