Which is best a standard rev D or forge uprated diverter valve for stage 2+

Im looking to tune my S3 8P2 up shortly to stage 2+ and i have just checked my DV which has the part number 06F 145 710 G so which is the best upgrade either a forge DV which is a bit shiny or go for the rev D OEM one ?

All the other bits are ready to go on apart from my stupid house boiler springing a leak which has knock the tuning back a month or 2.
S3 gone but not forgotten, now on a Golf R

Get the forge one. Then you'd only need to change the spring and not dish out again if the oem fails

Bit of a difference in price between the two the OEM one would have to fail a fair few times to justify the price of the forge unit, I'm sure it's been documented there's no benefit of the forge unit over the rev D, a lot of the tuners even recommend it

Yes it will probably the OEM one just to keep it a bit less discrete and the price diffference is quite a bit

I am running 2+ with stock with absolutely no issues - logged 4 runs on VAGCOM at the weekend when installing the software and not a hint of a problem with the stock.

But.........I got a good deal on a Forge unit inc the blow off adaptor so fitting that either this evening or this weekend, so will let you know the difference!
