Hi Guys

Just changed my manifold flap.

While I was there I noticed a lot of oil in the intake pipe, IMF, egr and manifold it self.

The car does use a little oil and have a slight turbo whine to it.

Is the turbo on it way out?

How much is this going to cost me?

Cheers for any advice.

new turbo is about £900 new, all my turbo cars ive had have had oil in the inlet pipes i wouldent worrie about it untill it fails it will only be the seals.

Oh well. I'll flush the engine and do an oil change and see how she go's.

mine has been wineing since i got the car two years ago , ive done about 35,000 miles and she is still going strong and its been remapped about 8,000 miles ago.

As already said, a bit of oil in the intake is normal on a turbo car be it petrol or diesel

If this is normal that's fine.
It's just more than I'm use to seeing.

cleaned mine friday was the same and my turbo whines aswell still going strong though
im going to try the innotech cleaner in a couple of weeks anyone done this ?
