HELP!!! Xenon's aiming sky high after lowering car???

Hi all, hope you can advise...

Lowered my A3 8P 45mm on Spax springs, (which i'm very pleased with), but since doing so my xenon's are pointing really high. The xenon levelling adjuster on the front passenger side was undone when I lowered the car but put back as it was but I have been advised there is also a levelling adjuster on the rear drivers side which I did not come in to contact with,(not that I am aware of anyway).

Can anyone tell me what I should do to correct this please? Is it just something that can be done on Vagcom or do the xenon's need physically adjusting? Also, would this need to be done by a VAG specialist garage?

Many thanks in anticipation of any help.

    Mark

I think there is also a levelling adjuster at the back too. But you need to get the setting changed via VCDS/Vagcom for the xenons. See if there are any members near you with VCDS and ask them if they know how to do it, will be cheaper than taking it to a garage.

Yes you need to set the headlights at the mot mode 1st with vcds, then set them manually with the 2 adjusters on the headlight on an mot bay with lense, then once set disable the mot mode with vcds again.

You can adjust it on the headlights with a screw driver. On the top of each head light there is a White plastic adjustment screw. Give that a few turns.

You can do by hand, but the only true way to make sure they pass mot is to do as advised with vcds, its a 5 minute job, whereas mot fail on that will result in wasted time unless they adjust for you whilst in mot, I know some do & some dont as I have personally experienced.
