Doubt it. They dont tend to pack in, they just arent "strong" enough to control the stiffer spring.

It does make then wear much faster if fitted with incompatible spring. They'll be compressed much more even when static, which will lead to accelerated failure.

not that i know of but its common sense really, put a set in a car with 100K on the shock you might see problems but in general id say the most are mine
