Hey guys!

New to Audi's, looking at buying this;
AUDI A3 (06) 2.0 T FSI QUATTRO S Line Special Edition on eBay (end time 23-Jan-11 12:18:56 GMT)

It hasn't had a cam belt/water pump change.
What do you think in terms of price...?

Any advise would be great!

Cheers,
Laurie.

Looks sweet.
Its only on 55k but the cambelt needs to be changed within 5years or certain miles (cant remember what miles 70k maybe). Which ever one comes sooner
Terms of price its quite low considering the miles, the colour, spec and its an s-line special edition quattro.
If i was to get it just to be on the safe side i'd get the cambelt changed and water pump. Or use that to your advantage to get the price lower:happy:
Also get a hpi check on it, find out where it was last serviced. And does it come with full service history.
And how many owners has it had

Cambelt is 5yrs or 60k miles.

Also need the tensioner and water pump doing at the same time.

Its around a £350 job all in.

As said looks a very nice car with good spec. Similar spec to mine in fact.

Thanks to Robin too for the cambelt advice. Was wondering myself when it should be done as my car is 4 years old in March but only has 22k miles on it. Next year then for the big bill!!!

My Audi Service Schedule booklet says 115k for cambelt on 2.0T. Seems a long time.
I, myself, would change it at 60k/6 years.
Probably wont have it then tho ha.

yeah i agree looks a nice car with a very nice spec as said tho try to get it cheaper because of the cambelt change
