Alloy help- 19", 8.5j, et 48 are they ok for a3?

As title says I have a friend who knows someone with genuine rs4 alloys 19", 8.5j and et 48, with 255,35,19 tyres will these be ok for my a3 and would they be worth 500? As that's what he wants for them. Mint condition with minor scuffs

255 tyres are too big i was going to buy wheels of the exact same spec and was told i would need 225/35/19 or 215/35/19 tyres.
 
thanks for reply, well i have a full set of 235/35/19 on my car at the minute with no problems so theres no problems swapping the tyres over to the new wheels.
 
just wanted to know the offset was ok thats all am worried about am sure the higher it is the better cant remember lol
 
thanks for clearing that up for me pal, no the car is on standard s line springs so will be buying the wheels now.
 
You mean RS4 style from a new TT? Genuine RS4 wheels from an RS4 are ET29, so they are never going to fit. You want 215 or 225 tyres. I've got 2 falkens for sale.
 
i agree with n8 genuine rs4 wheels will never fit in a million years as the offset is way out as n8 describes they are prob off a tt as he says

I think the specs given are the A6 version as the TT ones are 9 inch wide.
 
Just cleared this up with my Friend they where off an a6 s line 2008 but still worth 500 with tyres so bought them :). Getting them powder coated gloss black to match my optics and tints :)
 
will the pcd of a 5 x 112 and ET 38 fit a audi a3 1.9 tdi sport 3 door (55 plate)?

No they wont
 
N8- going to to run 235/35/19 as I have them on the car now and are nearly new plus the tyres that are on them 255/35/19 are way to big so just going with what I got.
