just been to buy a new fuel filter but the guy said their is three types i have a 2.0tdi sportback sport 140bh 2005 any one have a part number and where i is the best place to get one any advice or help would be grateful

You could buy them all and take the ones you dont need back.
Diesel (for MANN housing 1K0127400C/E/J)
Diameter: 83mm, Height: 142mm Mann PU936/2x £14.95
Diesel (for MANN housing 1K0127400K)
Diameter: 83mm, Height: 116mm Mann PU936/1x £14.95
Diesel (for UFI housing)
Diameter: 78mm, Height: 136mm Mann PU825x £13.95
Or you might be able to have a look at the filter housing and check with the above to see which one you need.
