Just wondering if anyone on here has the facility to check which parts were factory fitted to a specific chassis number?

Looking to find out the part number for my ABS controller, an ETKA check is not accurate as there are many different versions/revisions depending on the vehicle spec, model year etc..

Cheers

The vin number should limit what parts you got fitted in ETKA.
PM me your vin number and i'll take alook for you.
Once its finished updating.

Does it update the prices as well ?

VCDS scan will give you the actual part number fitted.

I dont think so, the prices are normally a separate file.
I'll let you know if i find a up-to-date UK price list.
I found USA, Canadian and Swedish. lol

Cheers Axios.

Sem get the car scanned on VCDS. The actual part number fitted in your car will be displayed. Check NHN signature (member on this forum) for a list of members near you who will help if you haven't got it yourself.

PM sent Axios, thank you.

Mike - yes, I was aware of that method but hoping I could find out the part number without getting my car scanned :)

Sem - I have ETKA open at the moment and it seems that rather than chassis number it relies on your PR number.

Do you have a PR number UG0 or UG1 or 7X5 because those seem to be the ones identified in ETKA

Can you try '1AS' please?

1AS has two part numbers indicated. It depends on a further PR number UG0 or UG1

The part numbers are :-

for UG0 - 1K0 907 375 AD

for UG1 - 1K0 907 375 AE

These numbers are for the electronic control unit only NOT the ABS unit itself

Also, I have assumed that a late 2008 reg ('58) is a MY 2009

Hope this helps

Thanks Mike, I should have said - it's not for the car in my sig. You have a PM.

I've had a look through my ETKA as well and that does up to 2011 cars and there are so many different units for that car and year.
My elsawin is out of date so that wont be much use.

hopefully a VCDS scan will get you the info that you need.
