    H&R spacers

Ok running 50mm springs and 18" wheels

They are in need of spacers, anyone running them on here with similar setup? Not sure what sizes to go for

I was going to order 10mm for the front and 12mm for the rear but wasn't sure if it would rub or not.

Are you ordering longer locking wheel bolts as well? Anyone got pics with there spacers fitted?

The ones I've looked at come with longer wheel bolts yea

I really don't know what size would be best, all I know is I want no rubbing lol a wider rear might be a better look than 10mm all round. Hopefully someone will be along with some expertise

I've been looking at the H&R spacers on DPM and they come with longer bolts but no locking wheel nuts.

Found a few threads that might be useful.

Could always try the 10mm's on the back first and if it doesnt give you the look you're after then swap them to the front and get 12mm's. Thats what im doing anyway, just trying to source longer locking wheel bolts first before i go ahead and order.

I have 12mm on rear and it rubs sometimes but I think that's the alignment as I had full geo setup and it started, also, it hasn't done it for a while, but very bumpy roads it does it a lot. But if you're looking for a setup that 100% won't rub, then 10mm.

I was of the understanding that 10mm front and 12mm rear, apparently the feedback is that the rears only rub if you leave that screw in place, if you look at your rear arch you will know the one instantly. removing that = no rubbing so im told.

Also after pricing a good few up Damian was very competitive as you get the bolts also. its just the offsets that worried me if you start reading into it too much.

Avoid H&Rs at AT ALL cost, I have 2 sets snap on me, and know of 2 other forum members that have had this happen as well, the collars are FAR too weak.

if the collars snap then your spacers won't be hub centric and the load will be transfered to the wheel bolts rather than the hub, not sure how likely the bolts are to snap though. However, without hubcentric spacers you wheel won't be centered properly on the hub and you will get wheel vibrations around 70mph

The collar seperated from the spacer and got stuck inside the back of the wheel, driving home from preston to manchester with wobbly bolts isn't something I'm going to experience any time soon. So from my PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. So when your H&R wheel spacers arrive the postman might as well say..

h n r or forge are the best spacers hubcentric as always and dont use them as they werent intended, better yet plan your wheels and offsets and you can end up with a really nice setup, speak to the above on this as he is deffinately the wheel guru of the site

If you don't want to go for H&R both Eibach and Forge are also very good brands.

Give me a shout if you need any prices.
