help needed. disc pad light on but pads are fine.

i have a3 2.0tfsi and the brake pad light came on the dis. the car has uprated calipers dont know what they are but they are genuine vw/audi. the car has been stood for over 6 months so discs are rusty so thats what i thought it was but when i removed the passenger front wheel i found this;
are these the wires that are for the brake pads that is on the dis and where do they go as i cant find anywhere to connect. i have the plug for the ends it just corroded.
