can anyone give me some advice on oem alloys i have 06 a3 sportback sport 140bhp currently got sport alloys 7.5j 17 et 56. I am thinking of 75j 18hz et54 are their any good or bad points to consider not sure what offset means i have read about spacers lowering would like to be able to just buy some nice alloys to jsut bolt on sorry if it has been asked before thanks very much

Yeah they will fit straight on as they are the same spec as the s line. No worries!

is their any advantages to haveing 18s is the performance any better and is the ride harder as i am not sure whether to stick with 17s

You'll get better looks! Although 19's is where it's at

The ride will be firmer yes as you'll be goin down in sidewall

I went from 17s to 18s and can't say I've noticed one bit of difference in ride quality. It's as crap as it's always been.
