Hello from Brisbane in Australia.

I recently bought an 2007 1.8t and am really enjoying it. I have just completed my first 2 mods. Wheels and lowered springs. I am really happy with the wheels ( Enkei SC25 ), they are 19's. The problem I am having is that I also fitted some H&R springs but it seems almost no lower than standard? The fronts have almost certainly not dropped and the rears may have come down 10mm at most, I have attached a couple of pics but I would really like to see others cars with 19's and H&R springs (springs only)

I would have thought that the guard should be down just at the top of the tyre??

Great forum by the way

nice looking car dude white looks so nice when its clean like yours its imposable to keep it that way in the uk lol, im sure someone will be along soon with some pics there arre loads of guys on here that have got 19" wheels and h&r springs

How low are the H&R springs from std? Normally the springs settles a little in a couple of weeks, that is also the reason why you not should get the car alligned right after installing the springs.

Thanks for the replies so far, really keen to see a photo of the same setup... on another car.

H&R's were Part Number 29261 they are supposed to lower by approx 35mm (1.5")

I like coilovers but was really limited with budget.
