Want to replace the tatty Cigarette Lighter for a new one or is there a better option to replace it with as its never used? Perhaps a blanking plate or similar?

Im guessing its not a sealed unit, but I couldn't seem to part it? But then has seperate part numbers (see below pics).

Can anyone tell me the cost to replace each parts or the whole unit.

Pics to show unit:

I've got a mint condition cigarette lighter, give me £10 and it's yours. I replaced mine with the 12v socket. Looks much better IMO.

Thanks, what are these new then?
Pic of the alternative you are referring to (12v socket)?

I've got the little torch in mine but would be interested to see the socket?

Sorry for poor images, taken on my iPhone. Ignore the paper in the second pic, only used it to jam it open.

why didnt you try retroing the boot ones that spring out (ill try and remember to get a pic of the one thats in my s3 tonight)

The blank flap is the tidiest looking option, it's about £20 from memory & is originally part of the "non smokers" pack.

Part no for the "flap" socket is 8P0 863 387A (black)
