Anyone driven further then???

*ducks and waits for answer *

maybe just a bit
1k miles to italy in one hit with just a stop for lunch and the odd loo break... god bless cruse control haha

2400miles. 1200 in one day there then the same back in 2 weeks.

Just give the car a good boot in 3rd/4th gear (keeping to legal limits ay?) up any nice steep hill inclines you see to get the engine really working hard and burning off any carbon deposits etc. . .

Try to give it the beans up untill 3,000- 4,000 rpm on a diesel or 500 or 1k under the redline on a petrol and then hold it there as you climb up the hill.

An italian tune up is the same thing just for a prolonged amount of time (10 miles etc etc....) just under red line. Done to petrols but diesels can be done the same, only a diesels engine isn't loaded when under high rpm but under load when climing hills iirc.

LOL my life as a comedian was short lived :Flush:

A full tank of Vpower and Fuel Additives is always a good option.

The difference in 1 minute is due to the fact its late, I'm tired & dark so taking care not to get me, the missus & Issy run over

I'd also like to add, I fecking hate painting houses.

Many many longer drives than that, though a few years back, Edinburgh and back same day, plymouth back same day so many times, all form South coast, remember driving to Doncaster and back, was in Doncaster 10mins, most recent though Nurburgring, there and back, straight drive there and 3 days later back. I am sure I have done a lot longer ones used to drive 75k miles a year
