BBS CH are always a good choice IMO. Same goes for the CK's both are one of my favourite set of alloys.

its doing pretty well actually, since ive had the map off for the last few day due to the warranty trip to audi its been fine, but now thats been approved once the work is done the map will go back on and i can have some fun again, but as long as im gentile ish with the throttle it holds up pretty well. but as an xmas present for the car looks like ive managed to pick up a mega deal on a BBK, but will see how that goes! (fingers crossed)

yea i really cant, the car feels really underpowered without it and ive got no noise from my evoms bad times haha just a few more days and it will be back to normal!
yea will get a thread up when & if it all goes ahead, if i can will do some brake tests before & after, but depends on the weather haha

dont blame them as BBS are oh so nice! still want a pair, but everything i spend on the car seems to end up being a performance mod rather then a looks one... think its time the looks got a turn!
na think you should leave the exterior as it is... looks the nuts!

ive got something in the pipeline ash real carbon fiber skinning going to buy a kit in the next few weeks and have a crack at my interior trims will look awesome when done takes a bit of time tho but its worth it i'll let you know how i get on

ive been tempted to have a go at that, it doesnt look too hard, but CF is a pain to work with, youve got to be so patient!!

yeah ive seen a few videos of it so im going to have a crack at it go to be worth a try hasnt it lol , will do once its done might even have a crack at my wing mirrors too

haha you been looking at the carbon mods videos?
i made something for uni from one of their kits and it came out pretty well, just need to pluck up the balls to do it to the car haha

haha yep carbon mods they make it look so easy lol i have had loads of experience with fibre glass so cant be much different can it looks the same sort of idea

im not sure, the fiberglass sheet ive used in the past if very stiff so its quite easy to handle, carbon fibre on the other hand is like silk!! its so light and flexible and as im guessing your only going to be using a single layer your gonna have to be really careful not to disturb the weave (which is really easy to do)
when i was on carbon mods site i noticed they do a 3M backed carbon fibre sheet, which will support the weave and stop its moving which i was more tempted to go for when i skim my interior parts and then get the resins separate to get the finish i want

well i'll soon know whats its like to work with lol, yeah i was looking at that sheeting too i like the idea of going over the product with laquer to finish it off might try a bit of my carbon wrap with some on it lol

haha it does look good stuff, but the PIA is the only sheet big enough to wrap the parts is wayyy to big and so really expensive!
ull have to get some pics up as wanna see what it looks like
but doing skimming should be easier then what i did as i did the mould thing... and its a ***** to release it from the mould!

yeah its not cheap is it , i couldn.t do the mould if i was doing it all the time then yeah but as its only a few bits its not worth the extra money in my opinion

na deff not, i only did the mould for a uni project... never again tho haha
the only bit that worries me with the skimming, is on the gear stick surround, where u have the bit of metal that divides the piano black and the gaiter, can see that being really fiddly to get right... unless you cover its totally, but id want to keep the metal part

yea thats the one, can see it being a right nightmare, which is why i was thinking of the 3M backed weave
there is an american guy that does it with normal weave oCarbon - carbon fiber products and his results are fantastic... but its not cheap! may just email him and ask him how he does it lol

i like the look of that a3 very nice indeed is it my eyes or has it got black/red carbon it looks awesome but yeah not cheap i would rather have a go myself first then if it doesnt work then pay someone to do it for me

yea he does, he does a few different color combo, but think u can get different coloured stuff from carbon mods?
yea £300 is a bit a bit rich for my blood, def worth giving it the DIY bash when its gonna be like a 6th of the cost lol

its allways worth a bit of diy lol , my mates rs4 has got carbon trims in it he has to wipe the dribble off his dash every time im in it haha

There are some rude looking motors there dude. Nice choice with the photos in the tunnel too.

Just a quick teaser from the photoshoot my mate done for me. Felt like sh*t thought i was gonna have to cancell it as i was ill and friday day and night it just rained! Lucky i was able to get out of bed and use the two bucket method and a hose ha! Will upload the rest later with more details....
