    Headlight Selector symbol colours

Bit of a weird question, and I'll post pics if needed.

The headlight switch, when in the 12oclock position all lights off, the symbols all red.

When I turn to 1 oclock position to turn on sidelights, the sidelight symbol turn green.

When I turn to 2oclock position to turn on dipped headlights the symbol stays red. is it supposed to turn green too?

When pulled out stage 1 for front fogs, they turn green, and stage 2 for rear fogs it goes yellow.

So it appears that dipped stay red.

Also on the dash, I noticed when I had a strong backlight, in the rev clock below where the full beam symbol (blue lamp) is - there's another dipped headlight symbol that doesn't do anything ever. Is that supposed to light up when the dips are on aswell?

As I said, if noone follows what I'm rambling on about I'll post pics.

I don't like that the dash doesn't tell us when we have our sidelights or fog lights on. I'll remember to ask my friend local VCDS man about that next time we meet up!

They left it off the really fast ones, so the light wouldn't distract us when trying to control the torque steer at Mach 2.
