19" alloys on lowered a3??

Hello all,

I am new to this forum but definately not new to modding!!

I have a 2004 A3 tdi 3dr, just had it lowered(springs only) and I was wondering what size wheels I should go for?

Was originally looking at 18s but Ive been offered a set of 19s at a good price - They are either 8 or 8.5j wide i think the tyres are 235/35/19.

Any good in terms of rubbing/practicality??

If you get 19's with 8.5J, you will need 215/35/19 tyres to prevent major rubbing

I'm down about 65mm and i only get the occasional rub with my 215's on 19's

225's are bang on mate, how much have you dropped it by? And what spring make?
 
Springs are eibachs. I think im just gonna play it safe and buy 18's!
