    Smallest Wheels on S3

As the title says, I was wondering what the smallest size wheels I can fit on the S3 are, does anybody know? I suspect it won't be much smaller then the 18's already on it, if at all.

    Cheers!

Thats interesting, i've since read up that 345mm discs (like on the S3) will not fit within a 17" wheel, but then I thought the 3.2 had the same size discs as the S3....confused!

well thats kind of what i'm after, winter tyres on the 18s are 170 each, so i was thinking of getting smaller wheels and cheaper tyres!

i think im just gonna shell out, depends on what set of winter alloys i can find as i need to buy a set of boots for the a3 and the s3 too should be able to delay the s3's set by buying winters and running them early

Isn't the calliper bigger on the S3 though, i'm sure a 17" wheel would be a tight squeeze. Maybe with the right offset they would fit.

On this thought, does anyone know if the spare is different for the S3 and a 2.0 TDI? As I've fitted S3 brakes I'm worried the space saver won't fit if I need it!
