Hi I am getting my Sachs clutch and new DMF fitted sooon just wondering what I should expect to be quoted in the region of for the labour costs?
cheers

It takes about 5 hours to do a complete clutch install on a quattro for the labour. It can be done a lot quicker if they know what they are doing and everything goes to plan.

Getting a good friend/mechanic to do this now..getting release bearing obv but not changed slave cylinder before when I had a new clutch?

Why would you change the slave cylinder ?

Yeah I wasnt aware you needed to do this routinely as a precaution like with the release bearing?
Getting a friend/mechanic to fit clutch AND H&Rs for 220-250 ish. On a side note...the DMF is one HEAVY piece of kit. Must loose a good 5hp atleast just spinning that badboy.
