I was just after some camparison to some elses clutch on their S3. When reversing, if you just let the clutch out to biting point and use no revs is it quite "rumbly" feeling? This may just be due to the lack of revs, but I can't recall any other cars struggling. Or is it just smooth?
I have just had my clutch replaced by Audi at 22k. This was due to a shudder I was getting on downshift from 3rd to 2nd. They said it was due to the Flywheel having excess play. So they replaced the Clutch, flywheel and Clutch release bearings. The clutch now feels spot on all the time. This feeling has been with reverse before and after the change, so its not something they have caused.
So anyone elses input on how theirs feels would be great.
