Changing rear lights & MOT

Hi,

I've read some info on people failing MOT's after changing lights which possibly arn't UK spec ..

Does anyone know if these are official UK spec facelift rear lights? :thumbsup:

They're cheaper direct from Audi.

As Mitch said go to Audi or try ebay saw a set on there for £160 or best offer yesterday.
Try Stoke Audi on here aswell

if you have a 5 door then there should be no issue.

if you have a 3 door there are 2 separate sets of lights for Euro spec and UK spec because the reflector and fog lamp have to be on a certain side of the car, and are obviously reversed for LHD cars and hence you'll fail your MOT if you install the Euro ones.

as long as you go to an Audi main dealer and check and double check that they are the right ones then you'll have no issues. but i wouldn't bother because with the MY11 lights around i reckon a few ppl will be getting rid of their 09 ones soon. not exactly sure what the excitement is all about. i think the 09 ones look better

As long as u tick 'yes' for right hand drive u shouldn't have a problem. i bought these a few months ago and now want the new 11 lights
