Just having a rns-e headunit fitted in my audi a3 2007 sline. Will i need to fit the GPS Antenna to the rns-e unit or could i use the oem gps shark Antenna originally fitted on my car roof?

An extension fakra cable to sharkfin will work... but it's EASIER to stick a £10 'puck' GPS antenna up under the dash, behind the instrument cluster.

Ten minutes, ten quid, versus twenty quid for an extension cable and a couplr of hours of swearing, routing the cable.

Mine is simply a wire stuffed in the dash behind the head unit.
Works fine.

Mine came with the RNS-e and it's stuck in a gap between the airvent and dash on passenger side, works perfect and can't be seen...
