Few Questions

Im not very good with cars and anything to do with cars.. Never mind diesels!!

So ive just baught a 2.0L TDI Sport A3 and im now wondering a few things

1. Is it worth getting a Re-map / is it possible to Re-map a diesel
2. Is it possible to get a dump valve for a diesel - if so i wud only want a quiteish one
3. Is it worth getting the car chipped will i see big enough gains etc?

1. Yes, definitely worth it!
2. Not too sure on this one. But I think I read somewhere that having a dump valve is pointless as the diverter valve performs better or something.
3. Same as one, but I personally prefer remap as it seems to be easier.

1 yes you will see an extra gain, however ive seen diesel users using an under the hood mapping box which has to stay plugged in at all times speak to dan! he has one

2 yeah im sure it would be but ill leave this one to the oil burner techs to point you in the correct way

3 remapping and chipping will see similar gains, stick with a revo or diesel tuning box
