A3 1.9TDI Oil Problem

Hey guys

Im having a little problem, it involves my oil yesterday my minuimum oil light came on, i filled it up around 2 litres and now there is more than enough oil, however the minimum oil light is still on ....

Uncle put it on a diagnostic system and no fault codes appeared??

Has anyone experianced this problem?

i think 2 liters may be too much. only takes 4.5 litres from empty? Have you taken the car out for a run since putting the new oil in?

Firstly it sounds like the sensor is fault. Secondly I strongly suspect you have too much oil in now - have you checked the dipstick. Running a diesel with too much oil can be seriously bad news - check it and let some out if necessary asap.
