I'm thinking of buying A3 Quattro 2.0 S-Line.
Had a test drive in a 57 plate yesterday.
I liked the car, but............
I would not be able to live with the bright red led display on the Radio/CD and on the display on the dashboard.
It just shouts ANGRY! to me.

Does the A3 come with any other colour display, or can you turn down the brightness of the display?

You can adjust the brightness on the right side of the steering wheel.

I have mine on max brightness. It does not irritate me...

dependant on the year of the car you can get a white display but up to 57 unless you buy a s3 you wont get anything but red, i think there were companies on ebay changing the leds, as for brightness mine aint that bright, cant remember if it tones down with the brightness slider (next to the headlight adjust)

wow you're the first person i've heard say that. i love it, it feels like being on the hull of a battleship! (i have a mental age of 6 clearly!)

and i'm like Christer, i keep mine on full brightness and they don't bother me at all
