    fuel pump location

    as stated, were is my fuel pump located.ive been doing so research and come to the conculsion that its located in the fuel tank.so ive took the black cover off from under the seat, removed the lid with the 2 pipes in and the wired connection on. but how do you remove the pump.the lower section doesnt want to come out,can anyone help.pics would be brill

    Im sure it twists out anti clockwise from the tank base.

    yeah ive got the top off but cant get the base out.the pipes are to short.am i doing something wrong

    hmmm....have you stuck you hands down in the tank garbed hold of the pump and twisted the hole lot anti clockwise to remove?

    no, ive not put my in the tank.isn't it pump in the middle of that big lump of white plastic.

    yes it is but you have to remove it complete and strip it down.
