18" RSTT Powdercoating session-What colour should i choose!!!!

Ive got a Nogaro blue S3 and booked in for powder coating end of july!

Really cant decide what colour route to go down!

I personally want the car to look out of the factory but lowered with bigger brakes and subtle bodywork mods, nothing too over the top. This makes me think of a silver colour.

The black ive seen a few people have gone for on here seems to ruin the car and make it look a bit too boy racer for my liking.

The other finishes ive thought about is a dark chrome which ive had done before, or maybe a anthracite finish.

Any pics would be good to help me choose and thoughts also would help

    Thanks ;o)

I was going to say black as per Sandip and Sanj's, I must admit they do look really good, but if thats not your personal taste, then the choice is yours...

An anthracite colour would also look really good, I have recently had mine done in Gunmetal Grey and they look spot on, albeit my S3 is Silver.

Either that or shiny silver, with a serious flake in it.

Out of interest, where are you getting your wheels done??

I would say either Black or Antracite maybe.....
Personal Preference would be black.... goes well with a Nogaro Blue car....

Gloss or Satin? thats up to you.... I went with Gloss as my moulds were satin....

I think white RSTTs on a noggy blue S3 would look wicked but might be a bit too boy racerish too.

yeh white wheels always look good on a blue car.

although its a bit of a french style i think it would work nicely.

Exxxactly Nilz. People always want to change the colour of their wheels to something more special. Silver is clean, shiney and looks the business whether driving fast/slow or parked up.

Dark wheels just look dirty all the time to me!

I'd say the dark chrome or anthracite would look good. I was thinking along the lines of the anthracite BBS CKs but my car's too dark so got mine done silver.

JD, when I had BBS's on my Mk2 GTI, they were shiny silver and when cleaned they looked AMAZING!!!

However on the S3, with the car being silver, the silver wheels did look really good, however as my wheels are 'usually' dirty, i thought I would get them looking professionally dirty, although they do really suit the silver colour of the car

    :o)

Probably be keeping to be honest as only just got hold of them after looking around for nearly a month for a genuine set and after spending 350 on new tyres and 300 on powder coating they will be the dogs.

    oh and spacers too ;o)
