S3 2002, sump plug and washer info?

had an oil change, now ive got a small seap from the plug, mate says i'll need a new washer.
is it a standard part?
can i make it myself, i'm a toolmaker to trade so its easy enough for me, what i need is the dimensions and the material type.
or is it easier just to buy one?

Last one I bought was about a quid.... includes plug and washer...

just got one today, plug and washer 80p + vat at GSF


they may have fitted a new one but not torqued it up tight enough

a quid will do me, cheers, i would charge a somebody a tenner to make one! LOL.

You would charge a tenner?
My life your expensive ! lol
when you fit the new plug make sure you work to the correct torque setting.
Alot of people strip the thread in the alloy sump
