hi everyone, looking to replace my sub frame as mine has had a few knocks and looks taty. it is currently off car, does anyone know what they cost?

It will probably cheaper and longer lasting to get a used one then powdercoat it before refitting? how bad is your one? Just get it powder coated if it's just cosmetics.

just looked at a golf subframe looks very similar on the car, but could not see a part number. Does anyone know if they are the same

hi dani how do you know that a normal golf one is different? part numbers different?

The subframe needs to be from a TT 225 or a Golf R32 ideally. I'm not sure if the Golf V6 one will fit.

The normal golf is fwd, the tt/s3/r32 etc are quattro.

I just want one so i can powdercoat it and fit it, that way i dont have to have the car off the road too long.

tt one is totally different 225 or not! but the golf one looks very similar have a look on ebay. want to try and find the part number for golf, tryed to have a look on a one in my street but was just to low. don't think it makes any difference if its 4wd.
