SWAP ECU???

Hi everyone!

Right have a question which hopefully some of you will be able to answer! ive got a 2001 facelift audi s3 amk engine which is more or less standard engine wise, ive just brought my girlfriend a 2000 pre face lift s3 amk i believe as well but havent checked that far yet and have not picked the car up!

The on ive just got for her has an mtm remap, magnex cat back, and few other usual goodies... my question is is can i swap the ecu's over? just i would'nt mind having the map and she is not fussed on it being mapped! also does anyone have much experiance on the magnex cat back?? are they any good?

Can be done I believe, but both ECUs will need to be recoded to the applicable cars.

Someone with more knowledge would be able to elaborate.

It would be cheaper just to get your car mapped! Pre-facelift cars are all APY engines also, so chance of it working is not likely.
