Parts still available from Audi

After owning a mk2 golf, at best you have a 1/4 chance of getting parts for it from a dealer. In general, what is part availability like on the a3 (particularly the 1997-2000 prefacelift model) from an audi dealer?

Am trying to source a lower center console, and considering getting 'direct' from them so am curious.
