Ive just managed to get my hands on a pair of these for free (owed a favour).... Ive seen the brackets on the bay,but has anybody actually ran these?? They work ok? They run on standrd discs so ive read? Is that correct??

Any info any of you have on them would be fantastic...

Are they Boxster S rears? 996? if so then they are not worth using....

Pistons are too small making the pedal hard and minimising travel... basically means you have to stand on the things to get any braking effort as the limited pedal travel can't make use of the servo assistance so the brakes feel like you have no servo...

They are designed for a 24mm wide disc IIRC and the pair I fitted to a Leon required the 4 posts on each caliper to have about 2mm ground off to fit the 312mm x 25mm std S3/Leon Cupra disc... Can't speak for the ebay brackets but had to have the ones Bill sells for Brembo jnr calipers decked a bit so they would fit the 312's

The customer is now looking to get some proper calipers as he has no confidence in his current brake setup... the customer was told at the time but still wanted the calipers fitted...

Shame as they are really light but better off with DS2500's on OEM calipers than those brembos tbh

Cheers for your reply buddy :arco:
