Afternoon people.ive been finking about going big turbo now but im nt sure how much wrk and effort would be involved.ive been looking the the gt28rs.would i need to change the internals ect and how much would it all come to.the car has done 80k now and im nt sure if i should keep it or just get another car like a evo or sumat.So far the car is mapped with 3inch downpipe,dv,filter ect.it doesnt have a fmic yet bt i just want more power.

My honest opinion is, if you want a car with more power, then change to a car that was designed to have 300bhp+ from the outset, so Evo or Subaru would be the route I take. But if it has to be an Audi S3 you want to drive with the big BHP, then go for the Big turbo!
Bear in mind you will also need to invest in better brakes to stop quickly, and some uprated/lowered suspension wouldn't go amiss to help you corner quicker! It all adds up at the end of the day.

Big turbo sounds like a great idea, but from reading obviously there are pro's and con's
A hybrid K04 turbo seems like a better option, some say even though a bigger turbo may be more powerful, they take longer to spool up.
Don't forget to budget for;
Front mounted intercooler
3" downpipe
Bigger injectors
Silicone TIP and turbo hoses
Uprated conrods
